Strengthening education teams in the settings that need it most.
We believe exceptional interim leaders don’t just hold things together. They transform. Our mission is to place the right people in complex, high-need environments, and to do it with a level of care and expertise that makes a genuine difference.
Facing New Challenges
SEND schools and alternative settings face mounting pressures around leadership, regulation and change. At the same time, the drive toward greater inclusion means mainstream schools are increasingly navigating the complexity that was once the preserve of specialist provision. Brava exists at exactly this intersection – placing interim leaders with the experience and judgement to lead confidently, whatever form that complexity takes.
Expertise Drives Change
Brava was built with a purpose. Intentionally small, deeply expert, and designed to do meaningful work in the settings that need it most. We’re not trying to be everything to everyone, we’re trying to be genuinely useful to the organisations we serve.
Our name reflects that ambition. Brava means applause – not just for the leaders we place, but for every setting that gives them the opportunity to do something that matters.
Meet our Founder
David has spent the last 15 years building, leading and working within specialist talent teams across the UK’s education, healthcare, social care and housing sectors, most recently leading a team of over 60 consultants. Throughout that time, a consistent focus has been the placement of interim leaders into complex, high-need environments, developing a depth of knowledge and a network that is genuinely hard to find elsewhere.
That experience revealed a clear insight: that the most critical appointments in education deserved a fundamentally different approach. Not faster, not higher volume, but more considered, more expert, more personal. Brava was founded on that belief.

Our Approach
Right Leader. Right Setting. Right Time.
The right interim leader for your setting, every time.
We place interim leaders into education’s most complex and demanding settings. SEND schools, PRUs, SEMH provision, and mainstream schools navigating significant challenge need a leader who has been there before and can make an immediate difference.
Not just someone available, but someone who understands the environment, reads a complex situation quickly, and leads with confidence from day one.
Every placement begins with understanding your environment.
Every setting we work with is different. That is why every placement begins with a genuine conversation, and where possible a site visit, so we understand your environment before we recommend anyone.
The right fit goes beyond capability. It requires cultural understanding, contextual awareness, and a leader who can read your setting from day one. That is what we look for.
Speed and quality, when it matters most.
In a SEND school or PRU under pressure, speed matters. A great interim leader placed quickly can change the trajectory entirely. Ofsted outcomes improve, staff settle, and pupils feel it.
That is the standard we hold ourselves to. Not just a placement made at pace, but the right placement made at pace. A setting genuinely stronger for it.
